Sparks is Evolving with the Online and Interactive Worlds
Sparks Event Marketing has a long history of developing innovative and successful experiential campaigns. We are constantly looking for new ways to excite our audiences so that our clients’ messages are received loud and clear. At a time when consumers are highly distracted with their busy lives, it is important for us to stay current when it comes to all forms of communication.
We are happy to announce the addition of Mark Brown to Avatar Interactive, Sparks’ sister company. With over 20 years experience building and leading cross-cultural organizations, Mark brings a wealth of interactive and web-based business expertise to the company. In his new role as vice president of Avatar, Mark is excited to lend his skills to the experiential world. If there is an appropriate web opportunity, Mark will bring it to the table for our clients to consider.

Congratulations Lindt, Sparks, AND CHUM FMSparks Event Marketing and Lindt & Sprüngli Canada recently completed the 3rd Annual Lindt Gold Bunny Tour – and the most successful one to date!
The tour took place March 15 until April 7, and ran simultaneously in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal. Indulging chocolate lovers of all ages, free Lindt Gold Bunny samples and prizes were given away at various retail locations in host cities. Best of all, true chocolate lovers in Toronto were encouraged to participate in the “Search for the Lindt Gold Bunny” contest on the CHUM FM website. The contest gave participants a chance to win the ultimate Easter indulgence – a gift basket overflowing with Lindt chocolate and $25,000.
The Lindt Gold Bunny Tour was a truly integrated marketing campaign supported through printed flyers, signage, face-to-face experiential marketing, web, and radio. In partnership with CHUM FM, the radio station promoted the event by airing 30-second commercials, as well as using announcer read lead-in lines. These radio spots informed listeners of what locations to visit to receive free samples, as well as reminded them about the online hunt for the most valuable Lindt Gold Bunny.
And the results are in! The Lindt-Sparks team gave away over 100,000 Lindt Gold Bunnies on the streets, while CHUM FM reports that the “Search for the Lindt Gold Bunny” contest was the second largest online promotion in CHUMFM.com’s history with over 13,000 entries. Congratulations team!
